So what's with the diff category?? I always thought jumpsuits is with long pants..playsuits is for beach wears..
Taken from Wikipedia:
Jumper may refer to:
- Clothing;
- In the UK and Canada, a sweater or heavy shirt pulled on over the head
Jumper (dress);
- In the USA, a sleeveless, collarless dress, known elsewhere as a pinafore or pinafore dress;
- Part of the uniform of the United States Navy.
A playsuit can be:
- A child's one-piece garment;
- An women's garment similar to a jumpsuit or catsuit; Playsuit (lingerie);
- A women's undergarment.
Romper
- Is a one-piece garment worn by children and sometimes women. Somewhat similar to a coverall, it is loose fitting and usually has shorter legs that may be gathered at the end. Puffed pants are particularly associated with rompers. Rompers usually are meant as a combination of shorts and a shirt, though the term can include jumpers, one-piece bathing suits, and clubwear fashions to name a few. Rompers appeared in the United States of America in the early 1900s.
- They were very popular as playwear for younger children because people thought they were ideal for movement. Rompers were in many ways the first modern casual clothes for children. They were light and loose fitting, a major change from the much more restricive clothing children wore during the 19th Century Victorian era.
- Rompers are often placed in the same category as one-pieces. One-piece can be anything from a one-piece swimsuit to a jumpsuit to a unitard to a bodysuit. A one-piece is like a romper in the fact that it is the same garment covering your top half as well as your lower half.
IN SHORT, YOU CAN JUST CALL IT ONE-PIECE..HAHA
